This week, a year ago, I spent six days on the road, looking for small towns, lighthouses, and coastlines, while chasing fall colors, sunsets, and lobster rolls! People often ask me where to go and what to see, so this week’s blog is going to take you along for the ride!

Here’s the route I took and the order in which I saw everything, just in case you’d like to try it, too.

Most people roll their eyes when they hear “Interstate 81.” The potholes, the fog, the snow squalls, the construction barrels that turn into an obstacle course. It’s a road to survive, not savor. But I’ve missed this connection, and I’m looking forward to showing up here more often. Think of this as the start of a new chapter: one filled with stories, photos, and a few unexpected adventures.
